English idiomatic expressions, or simply idioms are not only an integral part of the language but also reflect the culture and everyday life of the people who use them. They decorate the speech and make it possible to save many words and effort as very succinctly and accurately convey sometimes not only the meaning of a single utterance but even entire speeches! An idiom is a word group that is often used by native speakers and has a meaning that can not be deducted from the words that form it.
